Amanda Seyfried at the NYC Premiere of 'Chloe'

Amanda Seyfried was a beauty in turquoise as she attended the nyc premiere of her new film Chloe. Frederic Fekkai celeb stylist Renato Campora took inspiration from old hollywood, but gave Seyfried a fresh and modern look that was nothing short of glamorous.

to create the look, Renato started by creating a part on the hair while it was still wet. before blowing it dry, he sprayed on Fekkai Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Crème throughout the hair. using a 1 inch curling iron, he created soft waves. separating the hair into two sections, he pulled one section into a chignon.

with the other section of the hair, he blended it into the chignon, leaving a few pieces loose. to secure the look for the night Campora sprayed Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray and applied the Fekkai Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum to give the hair shine.

Behind the Scenes at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Runway Show

hosted by Frederic Fekkai, Lisa Love and Sally Singer, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund held its annual runway show featuring 10 finalists competing for the chance to receive a year of mentorship and support in launching their careers.

discover the inspiration for the hairstyles-- created by Frederic Fekkai-- along with the fashion fund finalist inspiration for their collections in the info and video below.

look #1: the wet look

the first look is a sculptural, edgy ponytail inspired by some of the graphic trends shown in the collections. described as modern, young and sexy, the texture tells a story through the wet and twisted hard hair. to add an effortless look, pieces are left out in front.

to achieve this look:

*use your hands as styling tools to create this piecey look.

*apply Fekkai COIFF Extra Control Styling Gel to damp hair and comb through with fingers, no blow dry required.

*pull hair into textured sections before twisting together into a low ponytail just above the nape of the neck.

*secure the twist with bobby pins, letting shorter pieces fall to the side.

*shape the hair into a long sleek ponytail.

look #2: the dry look

the second look is a modern, angelic take on a tousled, bohemian style. the hair is full and voluminous with an airy soft texture that allows for movement; it's dramatic, yet romantic and very wearable. pieces are left in front to frame the face and accentuate the jewelry shown in the collections.

to achieve this look:

*apply Fekkai COIFF Strong Hold Mousse to damp hair and scrunch with fingers as you blow dry completely to create the wild texture.

*wrap hair in big sections around twist-ties (fabric curling rods) to create volume at the roots and soft curl for movement.

*tease hair at the roots using a fine comb, and apply Fekkai Au Naturel Powder Clean Dry Shampoo to add thickness and extra structure, but without added weight.

*pin the sides to the back of the head and secure with bobby pins.

*to secure height at the crown, finish with a fine mist of Fekkai Full Blown Volume Lifting Hairspray.

Heidi Klum at the 2009 Emmy Awards

Heidi Klum never looks bad. her Emmy Awards appearance last (last) weekend proved my point-- even as pregnant as she is, the woman looked, and looks gorgeous. to compliment her black Marchesa gown, the supermodel mommy opted to wear an updo that was a modern interpretation of a 50's style while keeping her makeup fresh and glowing.

hairstylist Michel Aleman used products by Fekkai to create her hairstyle:

started by applying Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texurizing Spray Gel to the hair in order to generate some texture. he then blow-dried the hair and applied Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray to create soft waves.

he made a strong middle part, while making sure the hair in front was smooth but pulled back softly. next, he formed two pony tails to the back of the head. teasing each ponytail to create volume, he then brought the two together into one dramatic chignon.

the look was finished by applying Sheer Hold Hairspray and Brilliant Glossing Sheer Shine Mist throughout the entire look for a smooth and feminine result.

Blake Lively at the 2009 Emmy Awards

Blake Lively was a stand-out on the Emmy red carpet in my book. her fabulous red Versace gown and goddess style updo really made for a memorable look.

hairstylist Renato Campora created her hairstyle by applying Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse onto her wet hair.

next, he blow-dried her hair smooth and applied the Fekkai Coiff Extra Hold Styling Gel to prep the hair.

after teasing all the hair, he pulled it up into a high ponytail. by adding some hair extensions to the ponytail, he created extra length for a more dramatic look.

to finish the style, he braided the entire ponytail and fastened at the end then applied Fekkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra Light Finishing Creme throughout the entire look for a smooth and sleek effect.

Fekkai is sold at Sephora, Nordstrom and online at Fekkai.com

Kristen Stewart at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards

Frederic Fekkai celeb stylist, Adir Abergel styled Kristen Stewart for this year's Teen Choice Awards. Adir created a 60's-inspired rock and roll pompadour with a spiky ponytail. want to know how to get this look? read on...

to get the right texture with short layered haircut like Kristen's, you must apply enough products. Adir first started out by applying the Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax to the palm his hands and then added the Fekkai Coiff Extra Control Styling Gel for extra texture and shine. he applied this to her damp hair until it was full saturated.

once the product was in the hair he took a blow-drier and hand dried into his desired style, directing all the hair with his fingers back to the nape of her neck. to finish the look, he took the back of the hair and pulled it into a twisted ponytail letting the ends out and then spraying the front with the Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray, making sure to leave random pieces out for a more "chill" vibe.

Megan Fox at 2009 Teen Choice Awards

Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai created a young tousled, soft and sexy look for Megan Fox at this year's Teen Choice Awards. take a look at how this look was achieved...

Renato started out by using Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse on her hair while it was damp to create sexy texture that would hold up for the night. he let her hair air-dry while using his fingers to create waves. he also used a one inch curling iron to make more defined long soft waves and give the hair a modern and fresh feeling. finally he spritzed the hair with Fekkai Glossing Sheer Shine Mist to add shine and finished with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray to maintain the look.

Get Beachy Waves Like Megan Fox

Megan Fox attended the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen premiere looking amazing and truly summer-ready. from her white dress to her beachy waves, her overall look was definitely much softer than her recent red-carpet looks.

to achieve her hairstyle, stylist Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai started out using the Fekkai Summer Hair Marine Beach Waves to create surf-sexy texture and sexy tousled waves. using the Fekkai Round Brush, he then blow-dried her hair and used a one inch curling iron to refine the waves, giving the hair a modern and fresh feeling.

once the whole head was curled with the iron, he pulled the top and the sides back and secured it with bobby pins. a long rubber band that goes around the head was then used to create a little bit of height so it was not too flat and not too high--it was important to find the right balance. he then spritzed the hair with Fekkai Glossing Sheer Shine Mist and finished with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray to hold it all in place.
