I Love My...Lily Halter Maxi Dress

i bought the dress in the above pic a few weeks ago, and it is fabulous. i'm 5'3, so this is not as short on me as it is on this model (well, if i'm being honest, it hits the floor when i'm barefoot, LOL!), but i love my Lily Halter Maxi Dress.

while it's described as being slightly shorter than the average maxi dress, it's perfect on me. as soon as i tried it on, i fell in love with it, and so did hubby (always a good thing). this dress is so comfy, but looks elegant, and the best part is that when i wear it, i'm put together with one piece! i always get compliments when i wear it, so it makes it even more fun to wear. :)

Francois Nars to Make Special Appearance in San Francisco!

listen up all you san francisco beauties! Francois NARS himself will be in your area this saturday, so don't miss it!

after making a comeback to the runway and creating 65 different makeup looks at the Marc Jacobs show this past february, the excitement is brewing that Francois Nars will be making his first personal appearance in about 10 years!

in celebration of NARS 15th anniversary, Francois Nars will be making a special personal appearance at Nordstrom San Francisco Centre – signing copies of his books X-Ray and Makeup Your Mind as well as the limited-edition NARS Loves San Francisco Set.

fyi, X-Ray (1999) is the wildly successful photography book and collector's item, Makeup Your Mind (2001) is the ultimate instructional makeup manual featuring the world's most recognizable models. the NARS Loves San Francisco Set containing an assortment of four classic products resurrected from the archives by Francois Nars specifically for the women of san francisco and re-named after iconic names in the city, will be available for sale at the NARS counter during this time.

a talented team of NARS makeup artists will also be offering customers in-store consultations with the Summer collection!
